Bykota House is a children's home that, unlike an orphanage or an institution, is based on the God-given model of a family. We are blessed to have some of the most precious children in Cambodia set into our family. Several of our children have special physical challenges that make life much more difficult. "God sets the solitary into families" Psalms 68
Bykota House receives children who have been orphaned through death or abandonment. Children are not refused based on the basis of religion or physical illness or disabilities. Often times our children have extended family members who love them but are not able to take them in and care for them on a permanent basis. We encourage these family relationships to continue and the children often visit their extended family during national holidays and school breaks.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this;to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." James 1:27
