Be Ye Kind One To Another
Bykota House is a children's home that, unlike an orphanage or an institution, is based on the God-given model of a family. We are blessed to have some of the most precious children in Cambodia set into our family. Several of our children have special physical challenges that make life much more difficult. View our featured video to learn more about Bykota House. Let Us Tell You About Bykota House.
"God sets the solitary into families" Psalms 68
Bykota House receives children who have been orphaned through death or abandonment. Children are not refused based on the basis of religion or physical illness or disabilities. Often times our children have extended family members who love them but are not able to take them in and care for them on a permanent basis. We encourage these family relationships to continue and the children often visit their extended family during national holidays and school breaks.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this;to look after orphans and widows in their distress..." James 1:27
School of the Nations
Started in 2007 School of the Nations is the private school for children living at Bykota House.
Daily through School of the Nations students are blessed with the life-long foundation of a strong education in both English and Khmer.
"You shall teach (these words) diligently to your children" Deuteronomy 6

Educational Support
Our children often come to us having little or no educational history. Therefore, a personalized education plan is charted for each child and our expectations are only that they do their best and remain committed to improving their future. For this purpose we opened School for the Nations in July of 2007. At School of the Nations we utilize a full English set of curriculum based on the PACE system where each child progresses at their own pace. We also utilize the Cambodian school curriculum and instruction is in their own language of Khmer.
Several of our kids are now in their teen years and are choosing career training based on their individual interests. These career opportunities are based outside of our organization however they may continue to live at Bykota House while they pursue these training opportunities.
